UNPOLARIZED. This project serves in a time where our differences are louder than they should be. We are simply living in a polarized society. To begin this project, I conducted research, held a survey, and ran interviews with the leading question, "Is there still a need for the two-party system?" My main goal for this project was to be as UNPOLARIZED as possible by allowing a space for different perspectives to be heard and given respect. With my information, I created a poster series, a book highlighting the history of U.S. politics, voter's cards, buttons, social media posts, "Thank you!" cards, and a infographic running through all of my findings from my initial research.
Aesthetically, I pushed to execute the project using 8 colors with the idea being to embrace inclusion along with bold usage of typography and hierarchy to create captivating pieces that are educational all while inspiring new conversations about politics.
